I entered one. I submitted a picture I took July 2008 in Santa Cruz, which seems like a lifetime ago. It happens to be one I’m partial to and since it fit the theme, I’m giving it a shot. This is really the first time I’ve done something like this with my pictures, so hopefully I don’t come in last place. Please consider voting for me now and every day until the contest closes. I would very much appreciate it.
Wildlife Photo Contest
May 25th Edit: I was awarded a 16″x20″ canvas (or $103 off) for second place! Woohoo!! Thanks to those who voted.
I’d go ahead and give up on that place… The one that’s winning by a large margin sucks, the photo I think truly is best doesn’t have a single vote… I think yours is 2nd best behind the photo of the tiger (not that water one that is clearly plagiarized).
Yeah, I already gave up on first. His count goes up by a fairly consistent number per day so either he has very dedicated fans/friends or he’s gaming the system pretty well. It’s obvious votes are not really based on merit, so I’d be happy with second.
Yeah, looks like a nice and easy scam to pick up a free framed photo every month. Wanna trade months?
It’s my gimmick, find your own! Actually, I wonder if there’s a limit for number or winners per household.
As I suspected, my “household” not eligible until the voting finale… which is supposed to be Feb ’11. I guess that means you’re up next.
Classic cars? I’ve got this.
Never really spent time photo’ing still cars or classics, but I’ve got a handful that won’t put me in the “only submitted to stuff the box” category. Is the framed photo the one that wins?

#4 is the best, but I think it will be lost on most people. I say #2, but blur out similar to #1 (just not as much) so it looks like a shallow depth of field. If you don’t finish in the top three, you can submit to the contest for the following month.
Winners get a coupon code equal to the amount of the item won. You can use it on any picture, any size.
#3 is the best, not #4.
