Thanks to a coworker’s motivation, I’ve been hitting the gym in my building twice a week for the last four months. The first three months were mostly heavy lifting and the last month has been mostly cardio with some light lifting. The weight lost category isn’t going through the roof but my clothes seem too large and I’m lifting ~2.5x the weight I was when I started. They say muscle weighs more than fat but there’s something psychological about the pounds number. For the heck of it, I decided to compare these pictures last night and noticed a difference. I’m pretty sure this has helped me refuel my motivation to continue.
