I think a lot of people are familiar with SeatGuru but I’ll throw it out there in case anyone isn’t. I’m fairly obsessive when it comes to booking travel as I have to know everything about everything before I book flights and hotel. I used to read the airlines’ fleet information before I knew about this site just to glean whatever I could about cabin configuartion. Not only does this have the configuartion for pretty much every airline you’d ever fly, they also provide color coded warnings/recommendations about specific seats. Add to that seat type, video and AC power setup information and you have a extremely useful website on your hands. I guess it’s not that big of a deal if you only fly an hour or two at a time but I definitely recommend it if you’re flying across country or internationally.
Side Note: At Jeff’s recommendation, I’ve started putting pictures inline to make my posts more visually pleasing. If you’re viewing a post in a feed, the pictures will probably just appear inline instead of with the float CSS formatting. I don’t think there’s a way around this as sites like Netvibes don’t inherit CSS in their feed. If you’re using Netvibes, switch to site view to get the full effect. I might change it at some point but float is what Blogger uses and I’m pretty lazy.
pretty sweet site, but when you fly first class everywhere, no need to use it!
pictures inline on your posts make your site look way more pro, good work…
Out of probably 2 dozen flights in my lifetime I’ve “only” been on first class 3 times. I realize 3 > 0 but I fly coach when it’s my $.
