I have a lot of work to do while I'm here so I don't want to commit to writing about my travels on a regular basis like I have in the past. Instead I'm going to post a few brain droppings I think others might find interesting as the days wear on. I'm taking pictures but will wait until I get back home to post them. In the meantime, check out Jeff's constantly updated set. He's a lot more initiated than I am and there's no reason I can't bask in his reflective efforts.

We haven't really done anything yet so I'll save my initial comments until after we see what happens today. I can say that 17 hours is a long time, even with a plane change, no matter how you cut it. The food on Lufthansa was actually really good and the business class was better than SAS because there was a footstop at the end of the seat. I didn't sleep well intially because the plane was hot and the ride was pretty rough at times, including landing in a thunderstorm, so it wasn't all peaches and cream. More to come later.
